Genuine faith

(Luke 7:50) But Jesus told the woman, "Because of your faith, you are now saved. May God give you peace!"

The phrase 'Jesus is Lord' doesn't make you a son of God if you don't mean it, even demons knew, that 'Jesus is Lord.'

The question now is, do you really know Jesus?

Calling yourself a Christian does not make you a genuine Christian.

Philip for instance has being working with Christ for a very long time but he did not know Him. Philip has to be one of the apostles of Christ, John 14:9 Jesus replied: Philip, I have been with you for a very long time. Don't you know who I am?

Do you know Him too?

That notorious sinful woman's faith in the book of Luke, defeated Simon who has to be a teacher of the law of Moses. Luke 7:44-50

The difference between that sinful woman and the self-righteous Pharisee who felt no need for forgiveness was one of compassionate love as over against cold courtesy.

Genuine faith makes you a genuine Christian. "It is by grace not by work."
