Prince of peace

 John 14:27...

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Peace in a simple term means 'freedom'. Our Lord Jesus Christ knew quite well that the most important thing that we need is peace, not money nor material things. No wonder the super power nations of the world embark on 'nuclear weapons' in search of peace. The scripture says 'when a man’s ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.'

 What Are We Really Looking For?

We wake up early and come back late in the night, different countries of the world applied different political system, they embark on different political theories, individuals believed that wealth is peace. Many taught they would find peace in cars, mansions, wife, children, good job, promotion, qualifications to mention a few, but all those things will only bring temporal peace or no peace at all.

How Do We Find Peace?

To have peace is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. He is the prince of peace, you will never find peace in the world; the peace of this world is equal to stress, depression, unhappy, fear, failure, war, to mention a few, but God's peace will give you total freedom.
