How to decline devil's proposal

 John 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Jesus taught us to be watchful and to be prayerful. As a Christian you need the power of God and the wisdom of God to survive or to live a successful life. Devil has advantage of age and he has different patterns and various strategies to turn man against God. Through Eve, devil caused Adam to fall short God's glory in the garden of Eden.

God's love towards mankind is uncomparable.  We are people of flesh and blood. This is why Jesus became one of us. He died to destroy the devil, who had power over death. But he also died to rescue all of us who live each day in fear of dying. Hebrew (2:14&16)

Jesus clearly did not come to help angels, but He did come to help Abraham's descendants. Because of His death on the cross and His resurrection, devil has no power over you and I, all satan can do is to proposed to you and the best thing you can do is to reject his proposal.

 How to Discover and Overcome devil's plan Over your life

Immediately following His baptism Jesus retired into the wilderness of Judea. This He did under the leading of the Holy Ghost (Mk 1:12). The purpose of this retirement was that He might be tempted by satan.

Before any man can overcome devil's strategies, such must be empowered by the Holy Spirit through prayer. Jesus started His ministry with prayer and He prays nearly every hours throughout. That teaches us that mankind was fashioned to pray. For you to overcome devil's traps you must pray. 

It should be noted that the only weapon Jesus wielded when He was tempted by the devil was the scripture, 'the sword of the spirit,' and He wielded it within the center of God's will.

For any man to reject or decline devil's proposal, such must have the understanding of the word of God. Devil knows the scripture and he can use it to manipulate any man who has no wisdom of God.
