Pray for understanding

 Psalms 119:73  Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

Understanding is very paramount in any relationship. When man failed in the garden of eden, God through Christ our Lord called us into a relationship. As a Christian, you must know what it means to follow Christ Jesus.

Who is Jesus? 

Jesus is the only begotten son of God who went to the cross to save you and I from sin which may lead to death; Jesus died on the cross for you and I to live.

"Then Jesus asked, “But who do you say I am?”

 Simon Peter spoke up, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus told him:

Simon, son of Jonah, you are blessed! You didn't discover this on your own. It was shown to you by my Father in heaven." (Matt 16:15-17).

Wisdom is the accumulation of knowledge, but to understand God is to be in one accord with christ Jesus.

No one can receive anything except it has been given from above; you will never understand God's words or His commandments if your understanding is not involved;

God is power but one may not experience the dimension power of God if such as no understanding.

Without understanding one may not experience God's miracle.

Without understanding one may be deceived by the devil.

God is favour but one may not experience the dimension favor of God if he has no understanding.

For you not to perish in this evil world, you must understand the way of God.

PRAY THIS WEEK

O Lord, please grant me understanding so that I will not perish by affliction.
