Shallow Peace

 Isaiah 55:2  Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

God alone gives and take, if you don't believe this, then finding peace may be difficult.

"It is useless to get up early

and stay up late

in order to earn a living.

God takes care of his own,

even while they sleep." (Psalm 127:2)

The only source of peace is God and Jesus is the only channel to find peace.

The peace of this world will vanish.

To the best of my knowledge, I have seen people searching for peace where there is no peace, money does not equal to peace, running after money will make you lose focus on God that gives all things.

Certificate does not equal to peace, having children does not equal peace, building manson will never bring you peace, having different cars will never bring peace.

There is nothing under the sun that can offer you peace but God and God alone.

  "Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."

( Matt 4: 89)

Jesus knew that the things of this world will vanish

If your dream is to build a mansion or to have different cars or you are seeking political power or position... Many had the same dream long time ago but when they archived it they lose their peace, because ' man will never satisfied ' immediately you have all those things it will lose value.

No matter how you search, no matter how you break the law or bend the rules you will never find peace, man will only find peace in God and God alone.

  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27)
