Hold The Fort
Luke 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
The Bible teaches that Jesus came to save the world, He died for you and I on the cross so that we can have everlasting life. He did not come to mislead the world but to show us the way. Throughout His sojourn on earth He draw patterns for you and I to follow, studying the life of Christ is enough for you and I to live a perfect life and to end well. Jesus teaches us to pray and He practically lay down a pattern for prayer; He started His mission on earth with prayer and when He minister all day He prayed all night.
As a Christian, I want you to observe something about Lord Jesus. Let's take a look at a bible verse;
"Like a young plant or a root
that sprouts in dry ground,
the servant grew up
obeying the LORD.
He wasn't some handsome king.
Nothing about the way he looked
made
him attractive to us.
He was hated and rejected;
his life was filled with sorrow
and terrible suffering.
No one wanted to look at him.
We despised him and said,"
“He is a nobody!” (Isaiah 53:2-3)
Christians should learn how to live on earth from zion, how do I mean? We should live by faith. The earth is full of troubles, and there are too many discouraging circumstances but for a Christian not to fall into temptation such must learn from Jesus and do according to His lay down instructions.
The aforementioned bible verse which is Isaiah 53: 2-3 tells us that our Lord Jesus Christ obeyed the FATHER, because He knew the rules that governs the kingdom. But nowadays many would prefer to bend the rules in order to please themselves instead of pleasing their creator.
I am using this medium to encourage Christians of today, please hold the fort "Christ is coming soon"
PRAY THIS WEEK
* Our Lord Jesus Christ please come and help my faith.
