Learn to rule by the spirit of God

Isaiah 30:1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:

Man was fashioned to obey God, any man who allows his desire to rule over him will die, because man's desires will make him think of himself alone and our Lord Jesus Christ made it clear that "the greatest of the law is to love God with all your heart, soul and mind and to love your neighbor as yourself;"

Eve in the garden of Eden allowed her mind to be ruled by her desire, this gave chance to the devil to made fool of her and that small but huge mistake truncated God's plan for man in the first place and it led to the fall of man and it brought sin into the world.

Any man who permits his mind to be ruled by his desires will sin against his creator because man's desires makes him think about earthly things, but the spirit of God makes man thinks about the spiritual things. Just like the scripture says, "It is the spirit that giveth life; the flesh profiteth nothing:"

Jesus said, "For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me." Jn 6:38

Man must learn from God by studying the lay down patterns of our Lord Jesus Christ and by applying it to our daily life. We can successfully do this by the help of the Holy Spirit; man is not perfect.

Anyone who desert the way of God and trusted in his own way is a sinner and such is dead while living. The book of Isaiah chapter 30 verses one to five lay emphasis on that.
