Who am I?

 John 10:14-15  I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

A true and a genuine Christian must know where he stands as he/she journey through life, because a day is coming when every man will "give account" (the day of judgement),

You must know who you are and whose side you stand. If you are on God's side then you have eternal life, you don't need any man to explain to you what it means to be on God's side, a wolf in a sheep clothing knows that he's a pretender. Jesus was talking in the book of Luke chapter 6 verses 43 to 45 "For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh." 

A genuine Christian must explore his/her life daily, because devil is wise enough to make you think that you are on the right track when opposite is the case, the scripture says "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil" the phrase "work of the devil" means sin. If you claimed that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior you must stay away from sin; cheating, backbiting, lie, idol worship, bribery, drunkenness, to mention a few are the works of the devil, if truly you are in Christ, then you are a new creature and you should let go of the old things/way, Jesus said "watch and pray," a genuine Christian must be a conscious servant of God. If you have truly met with Christ, then you must follow His pattern and do according to His commandments. Luke chapter 6 verse 46 says  “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?"
