The word of God is powerful

 John 12:50  And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

God created man in His image and the presence of God dominates his life but when he failed the presence of God left him and he was chased out of the garden. Man will never find his way back to the presence of God without instructions or direction from God Himself. That is why our Lord Jesus Christ came to give instructions to man on how to find his way back to God. No wonder, He said, "Don't suppose I came to do away with the Law and the Prophets. I did not come to do away with them, but to give them their full meaning."

No one knows the Father like the son, Jesus knew the Father because He came from above, there is no instructor under the sun that is capable of given directions to eternal life but Jesus alone, that is why He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." 

Jesus said, "the commandments of God will bring eternal life" but many christians do not pay attention to God's instructions given by our Lord Jesus Christ, if you fail to follow the instructions given by Jesus, believe me, your going to church regularly, paying of tithe and giving to the poor will never lead you to the kingdom of God. "You Must Obey."

The instructions of our Lord Jesus Christ is worthwhile He said in the scripture that "the word I speak to you are spirit, and they are life" if you want to make it in the end and reign with Christ you must be conscious of the word of God and obey it always.
