Why Christians should pay tithe

 Nehemiah 10:35  And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD:

Tithe is not just a commandment from God, and it is more than given a tenth of your income to the church or house of God. Tithe is a system in the spirit realm, a system for the kingdom development, and those who understands the way of the kingdom will never joke with tithing.

God is spirit and those who wants to communes with Him must do that in spirit, "the only language that the spirit understands is the language of sacrifice," for any man to remain relevant in the kingdom of God such must learn and work in the way of sacrifice. When Man failed in the garden of Eden Jesus had to left His position in heaven and sacrifices His life for man's safety. King David said, "Psalms 51:17  The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise." 

Paying of tithe is an act of engagement in the kingdom economic market, and the whole transactions is based on the profit you wants to make, so that you can grow in the kingdom, by the kingdom, and for the kingdom.

If our motive behind tithe payment is for us to grow in the physical, then we are not wise, "1 Corinthians 15:19  If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable." And devil will always use the gift that supposed to be a blessing to us as a weapon to defeat us.

Tithe is not a criteria to the kingdom of God, but it is a gift to us from God, so that we can grow in the kingdom, only if we can use it accurately.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of tithing please help me to put the things of the kingdom first as I journey through life Amen.
