Contentment
Ecclesiastes 4:6 Better is an handful with quietness, than both the hands full with travail and vexation of spirit.
"The world doesn't give peace, for it doesn't have any peace to give."
Since the fall of man in the garden of Eden, man has being searching for peace in the world.
When Man sin against God, he was chased out of the garden into the world but unfortunately for him there is no peace on earth, "Therefore rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!" Revelation 12:12 only those who had secured/gained access to the new kingdom which is the kingdom of God through the redemptive work of Christ will experience unlimited peace while they are still on earth. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27
Contentment is a tool in the kingdom; it's not something that man can learn in the university, perhaps it was included as a subject in the school curriculum, man will never understand or put it into practice unless he had met with Christ because Jesus is the only source of peace.
Jesus said, "I tell you not to worry about your life; don't worry about having something to eat or wear. Life is more than food or clothing." Luke 12:22&23 man always wants more because he wants to impress others, many work and do wonderful things just because of jealousy, they wants to be like others and they can go to any lengths to archive their aim. Life is more than impression man has limited time to live on earth and he must use this little time to please God and not himself. You must use your life to serve your creator, if you serve God with everything you have the rewards is awaiting you in the life to come; life everlasting “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matt 6:19-21
