The acceptable offering

Luke 19:8-9  And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

Truly speaking, the price had been paid on the mount of calvary once and for all. The sin that a man committed in the garden of Eden that made sin spread like an epidemic disease had been paid by a man from Nazareth, His name is Jesus the savior of the world, He was without sin but He died for the sinful world. "Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned." Romans 5:12

Because of man's disobedience in the garden of Eden there was a detachment between him and God, but God is so kind and because of His loving kindness He wants to accept man back to Himself and for any man to be acceptable to God, he must see himself as a sinner because anyone who has being operating or living outside God's domain is a sinner. secondly, you must believe that Jesus is LORD and you must confess that Jesus is the son of God and you must pass through the process of baptism, all the aforementioned processes are important for those who are willing to be born again but the most important part of it is genuine repentance.

God cannot be fooled nor can He be deceived; He knows all things and He sees your heart. God will only accept you into His kingdom because of the redemptive work of Christ and because of your genuine repentance. There is nothing else you can bring or do to confused God the only language He understands is sacrifice and you must sacrifice the worldly conduct/character that you had grow up with for the norms of the kingdom of God.

PRAY THIS WEEK

Heavenly Father, I humble myself in your presence and I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior please do not cast me away accept and take care of me. Amen.
