What it means to be born again

 Matthew 5:13  Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

To be born again means to be born into the family of God. God created man to be like Him. There were many creatures but man stands out because he was created in the image of God.

When Man failed in the garden of Eden, he loses his throne/stands in the family of God or better to say in the kingdom of God.

In the world settings, there are terms and conditions behind citizenship. For you to become a citizen in any nation of the world you have to follow the procedures, you can becomes a citizen either by birth, marriage, honorary citizenship and many other ways. When Man failed he loses his position in the kingdom and became a citizen of the earth but he needs to be born into the family of God before he could see the glory of God. So to be born again means to be born into the family of God; "the only way to acquire kingdom citizenship is by birth through the process of repentance, believe, confession and baptism," and you must have personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Don't be deceived, if you had been born again truly ; then you are in a relationship with God. Christianity is not just a religion, it is a relationship.

In the world system, if you are born into a royal family or you happens to be a president child; you will needed to be taught on how to relate or behave in a royal manner in order not to disrespect your office as a royal member so that you will not engage in anything that could tannish the image of your father or the family as a whole. 

When you are born into the family of God you need to understands how things works in the kingdom, that is why our Lord Jesus Christ uses the little time He has with man to teach them the way of the kingdom, "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work" John 9:4 He also said, “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come”John 16:13.

A born again Christian is not an ordinary being and he must realized that he is now in a relationship with the Father, because of this he should try so hard to do away with the old ways/life, you must learn the ways of the kingdom and work in accordance with God so that you will not in any ways tannish God's image or nail Christ to the cross once again. For any born again Christian to enter into the kingdom of heaven such must obey the Father till the end. Jesus said,  "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God". Lk 9:62.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of undeserved grace, by given us your only son so that we could have eternal life. Please help me to stay within your will to the end. Amen.
