Consecration

 2 Corinthians 6:14  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Starting new things can be exciting, but for you to star what you may not finish is foolishness. Suppose you want to build a mansion, won't you sit down and figure out how much it will cost and if you have enough money to pay for it? Otherwise, you will start building it but not be able to finish it. 

The kingdom of God is not a joke matter, if you are not ready to journey with God, it is better for you to remain in the dark than to enter into a relationship with light and refused to let go of darkness. Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62

It is a must for every believers to detached themselves from anything that can tannish God's image, because they are the image of God.

As a new convert, there are some basic things you must not engaged in; a born again Christian must not tell lies, cheat, backbite, drunk, smoke, fight, get angry, and take revenge. And you must not think evil or take part in any form of evil activities. As you journey with God in your good services and in cooperation with kingdom advancement God will keep you more closer to Himself by given you laws; these laws will be for you only.

A genuine Christian will never see any form of sin as something normal because any time he finds himself in sin, the anger of God will rush like a flood against him. It is only a sinner that will engaged in sin and still feel comfortable in it, those who follow God has nothing in common with sinners.

Heavenly Father, please give me more grace, more power, and wisdom to stand with you to the end, Amen.
