God wants you to love Him

 Exodus 20:5  Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Our God is a sovereign God; all power belongs to Him, God rules with love and justice.

"God is love" and He wants man to operates in love, according to Jesus, "the most important commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:36-40

God is spirit and He is present everywhere but He cannot be seen with physical eyes, no man can pleased God in the flesh, you cannot express your love for God while you are still a sinner, you must have cordial relationship with the Holy Ghost because our God is visible to those who worships Him in spirit. It is a must for you to love God and you can only do that by expressing your love to God's people and to the things of God, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me" Matthew 25:40

If you don't have the spirit of God in you, you may enter into trouble in the name of loving others, it is only the spirit of God that can show you who to love and what to love. If you truly love God, His kingdom will be your priority. You must love God because He first loves you; God sent Christ to redeemed your soul from death and to give you everlasting peace. "YOU MUST LOVE GOD"
