Kingdom service

 Matthew 25:40  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

It is a great privilege for you to be among the saints, and you are so fortunate if you have met with Christ.  “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day." John 6:44 knowing Christ Jesus is more important than winning a lottery or possessing a visa to travel abroad.

Don't be deceived, God has no favorite, but He loves man so much; the redemptive work of Christ is a testimony that God loves man. The kingdom of God is basically based on the safety of man, God loves you that is why he died for you; Jesus suffered and died on the cross so that the people of the world may be saved. God's motive behind the death and the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is to save all mankind. No wonder, Jesus instructed the disciples in the book of mark chapter 16 verse 15 “Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature. 

As a born again Christian, you must know the reason why you were saved; your salvation has a lot to do with your service in the kingdom; you must work the work of Him that saved you.

Firstly, you must work for the salvation of others "For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, 'I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth'" Acts 13:47

Apart from preaching the gospel there are other important assignments that a genuine Christian must carry out, Jesus gave an insight on it in the book of Matthew chapter 25 verses 35 to 40, if you study that verse you will realized that the summary of Jesus's message was based on "love for others "

If you really want to contribute to the development of the kingdom of God then you must have compassion towards others.
