Thanksgiving

 Isaiah 5:12-13  And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.

Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

God is not a show off and He's not a joker, God doesn't play game which is the idea of many and that idea was from the pit of hell, it is not recorded in the scripture that Jesus cracked a joke; God will never crack a joke because His word is verdict. God is not a man that seek praise for vanity but He designed man to show case His glory that is why He made him in His image,  "Everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made" Isaiah 43:7 

The whole idea of the redemptive work of Christ is to mankind, Jesus had paid the price  on the cross once and for all; He went to the cross to save you and I; He suffered and endured great pain for us, that is why we don't feel the pain that others that are not in Christ feels, Jesus was wounded and crushed because of our sins; by taking our punishment He made us completely well. But those that are not yet accept Christ are still feeling the sting of sin. Because of the sin that Adam committed in the garden all men had wondered off, we had each gone our own way, but the LORD gave Christ the punishment we deserved, so that we could be acceptable to Him.

As a born again Christian,your life must show case the glory of God, sinners must know that it pays to serve God, your everyday activities must tell them the true meaning of salvation. God really wants to save man and your life must preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You must learn how to glorify God everyday of your life; thank Him for the gift of underserved grace, thank Him for sustaining your life, thank Him for His provision and make it to known to others that Jesus is the reason behind your better life. Amen.
