The most important commandment

 1 Peter 3:12  For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

A pharisee asked Jesus about the most important commandment of the law with the intention of testing Jesus, not just because he wanted to obey it. Non of the commandments of God is not important, the Bible says, "whoever breaks one commandment is guilty of breaking them all." James 2:10. What is more important is to do according to God's instructions.

When Man was in the garden of Eden, God instructed him not to eat fruit from a certain tree, but he disobeyed and he was judged. There were many trees that produces fruits in the garden and the bible says, "everything God created is good." Genesis 1:31. Man's failure did not come from the fruit but he failed because he disobeyed. 

Man was fashioned to obey his creator; this is what the first man Adam did not realized and his ignorance led to the fall of man; when he failed all men failed, but because God so love the world He gave up His only son to redeemed man back to his position in the kingdom of God. Jesus made Himself a living sacrifice by obeying the Father so that you may have eternal life, because of man's fallen nature he cannot pleased God by trying to do good because the flesh will deprive him of that, that is why an innocent person died for those who are guilty. Christ did this to bring you to God, when his body was put to death and His spirit was made alive.

You are fashioned to obey God and you cannot carry out this assignment when you are not in Christ, only those who are living because of Christ Jesus will pleased the Father.
