Absolute Joy

 John 17:13  And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

"In your presence there is fullness of joy..." The twenty-four elders keep worshipping God, they placed their crowns in front of the throne and glorifies God. The four living creatures around the throne never stop singing, "Holy, holy, holy to thy LORD because there is fullness of great pleasure and happiness in the presence of God and they finds joy in what they were doing that is why they kept doing it.

There is fullness of joy in the garden of Eden that is why God put man in that garden after he was created but when Man sin against God he was chased out and unfortunately for him, he was chased into the world that has no joy; the world that is full of bitterness and sorrow, and man has being trying to create artificial joy for himself but all his efforts produces no result. King Solomon that was so blessed with understanding said, "Ecclesiastes 1:2-10  Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.

What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?

One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.

The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.

The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits.

All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.

All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us."

God is the only source of joy, if you wants joy please reconcile with God, you will only finds joy in whatever you lay your hands on when you are in a good relationship with your maker. You will find joy in your work, your spouse will give you joy, you will find joy in the life of your children when you choose to work in the part of the righteous, you will only finds joy in whatever you are doing not just because that thing can offer joy but because you are a carrier of God's presence.

Heavenly Father, please don't reject me, never take your Holy Spirit away from me, let your joy filled my life and remains forever. Amen.
