Do you have the Holy Spirit?

 Acts 19:2  He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

Holy Spirit is the spirit of God. Man is made up of spirit, soul, and body wich means every man has is own spirit because he was created in the likeness of God but when Man sin he loses is reality and he was deranked in the realm that matters, man supposed to be immortal, he supposed to be like God but sin had robbed him of his reality  that is why he needed the spirit of God to function like God. God gives out His Spirit as a gift to every born again Christian.

It is an aberration to worship God in the flesh, you need a solid relationship with the Holy Ghost inorder to commune with God,  "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth". John 4:24

   BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST 

"If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!". When you put your faith in Jesus Christ and you pass through the process of baptism then you can ask the Father to give you Holy Spirit when you pray. You can also receive the gift of the Holy Ghost through impartation e.g laying of hands, "And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied." Acts 19:6

Holy Spirit is equal Jesus alive, you will never make exploit for God without the help of the Holy Ghost, "And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another helper who will be with you forever". John 14:16.

As a born again Christian you need Holy Spirit to run the race and to fight the good fight of faith. "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." John 6:63

PRAY THIS WEEK

Heavenly Father your word said I should ask, and I asked for the gift of the Holy Ghost please give me thy Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit overshadow my life in Jesus name. Amen.
