Man's purpose on earth
Isaiah 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
What is your purpose on earth? What exactly are you doing on the planet called earth? Have you ever asked yourself the above questions? If you have not yet get answers to those questions, then you really have to know the reason why you are still alive.
Many believed that God created man for fun but that is totally wrong, man was not the first creature; God had created many beings before man was formed and the very purpose that man was created is to mirror God, the Bible says, "so God created humans to be like Himself; He made men and women." Genesis 1:27 if you are still confused and you still don't know the reason why you are still alive, I am glad to inform you that you are created to glorify God, and that is the reason why you must do everything within your capacity and with the help of the Holy Ghost to return glory back to God, life is more than having fun or pleasing oneself, Jesus said, "it is more than food or clothing," you are not on earth on your own because when you were formed in your mother's womb only God knows you, life is far more beyond "I want to become this or I want to become that," your simple assignment on this earth is to glorify God. King Solomon in his wisdom said, "For who knows what is good for a person in life, all the days of their fleeting life which they spend like a shadow? For who can tell a person what will happen after them under the sun?" Ecclesiastes 6:12
Although, sin had deprived man of many privileges; he has to labour in order for him to survive under the sun, but for any man to have a better end and to live a peaceful life such must obey God's commandments and do everything to please his creator. Jesus is the pattern man; we must live our life like that of Jesus Christ. "I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you." John 17:4&5
