The light of the world

 John 12:35-36  Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

Jesus is the light of the world. The logo of the world is darkness because it is full of darkness. The world is full of too many discouraging circumstances such as sickness, pandemic, war, bitterness, sorrow, disappointment, wickedness, just to mention a few all of these are the products of darkness and as long as the earth remaineth darkness will always finds expression, the Bible revealed to us that when God created the heavens and the earth, "the earth was covered with darkness," God commanded light which is our Lord Jesus Christ to shine, and the light started shining.

The Bible says, "God separated light from darkness," even though God commanded light to shine darkness still finds expression because it is the part of the earth that is why we still have the night which is darkness.

Jesus came to the world as a light that cannot be put out by devil or darkness, "The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles—the people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light, and for those dwelling in the region and shadow of death, on them a light has dawned". matthew 4:15&16

Since the day that man had been chased into the world when he sin against God in the garden of Eden, man has being searching for light in the world that is full of darkness, man was able to generate electricity from the moving water because the Bible says, "in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, but the spirit of God was moving over the water." Man generates electricity from water and it is called "Hydro Electric Power," but there is no energy of power that man could generate that can be as stable, as bright as the light of the day, which means there is no power, fame, light, strength, peace, wealth you can get outside Christ Jesus that can give you peace like the one you get through Christ.

Jesus came to shed and to spread light, He is the light that cannot be put off, when He was nailed to the cross the world think they had put off the light but He started spreading right from the cross and He went to the world of the dead the deepest part of the earth to shed light. If you can only accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior you too will become a child of light and you will become light for those that are still in the dark place of the world to see. That is why you need to shine, let you light shine for the world to see.

PRAY THIS WEEK

Heavenly Father, please give me more grace to shine, make me shine for the people of the world to see. Amen.
