The ministry of the Holy Ghost

 Isaiah 11:2  And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

Holy Spirit is the spirit of God. "God is one," there is no other gods but God, it is true that Jesus is the only son of God and it is correct to say that Jesus is one with God. Holy Spirit is one with Jesus and both the spirit, the son, and the Father are one.

God is mysterious; there is always a limit in human understanding when contemplating the divine. The four creatures before the throne of God keep singing "holy, holy, holy is the Lord," because every time they looks upon the throne they kept seeing different dimensions of God. 

It is written that when God formed man He breathed life into the man, that breathing is the Holy Ghost that powers man and that enables Adam to name all animals without consulting anyone and the spirit of God that was with him enables him to communicate with God with ease, but when Man sin against God the spirit of God left him and man went on his own. Without the spirit of God man is dead and death does not necessarily means that your spirit will depart from your body but when the spirit of God left man the spirit of man is useless until the spirit of the almighty comes back.

Every born again Christian must have hunger for the spirit of God because without the help of the Holy Ghost man cannot please God, you need the Spirit of God to win souls into the kingdom, you need the spirit of God to commune with God, you need the spirit of God for direction, you need the Holy Spirit to survive.

PRAY THIS WEEK

Heavenly Father, please give me your Spirit. Holy Ghost! Overshadow my life, my mind, my soul, and my taught in Jesus mighty name. Amen
