The role of the saints

 Isaiah 5:12  And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.

The world is a mixture of both the good and the bad. The genuine followers of Christ are still existing on earth and the worldly people occupies more space on the earth than the saints. The Bible says, "the world is full of darkness in the beginning," and Jesus said, "the saints are the light of the world."

Apparently, the so called believers had neglected their primary assignment which is to shine for the people of the world to see and they focused on the mundane things of this world.

As a genuine born again Christian, you have only one role to play in the kingdom growth and that role is to mirror God or better to say, the glory of God must radiate through you. And the only way to shine in the world that is full of darkness is to obey every commandments of God, you must tell the world about the saving power of God; through teaching, by performing miracles in the power of the Holy Ghost, by living an holy life, by demonstrating love, by telling others about what God has done for you in a moderate manner, God's people must not live for fun, you must not live to satisfied the flesh, you must live your life to please God and God alone.

Heavenly Father, please help me to honor your name, teach me what to do and let your words be a lamp for my feet. Amen
