Who do you serve?

 Romans 6:16  Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

 

All creatures were designed to serve God. All the angels in the heavens were serving at the pleasure of God, it is an aberration for any creature to disobeyed his maker. God designed man to obey His commandments, the sin that the first man "Adam" committed has a lot to do with his disobedience to God, God instructed him not a eat fruit from a certain tree in the garden but he disobeyed God because he did not realized that he was fashioned to obey God, devil knew this; that is why he pushed man to disobeyed God. The reason behind devil's downfall was his disobedience, he refused to honor God and he was deranked, rejected, and expelled from the presence. The same is applicable to man because he listens to devil's strict. The devil had been judged already but man still have the chance to repent and turn back to God because the price had been paid on the cross by that innocent Lamb "Lord Jesus."

It is true that man disobeyed God but the sin that he committed in the garden is forgiveable that is why our Lord Jesus Christ sacrificed His life for the attornment of man's sin. Man did not realized that he was fashioned to obey every commandments of God and when he obeyed the serpent he because a slave of sin and he loses his reality in God.

Anyone who disobeys God's commandments is under a curse because the very reason why man was created is to obey his creator and to please his maker, and the only way to please God is to honor Him by doing His will. Anyone who pleases the devil by walking in the way of the unjust is an enemy of God.

Dear brethren, give yourself to God as someone who have been raised from death to life, make every part of your body a slave that pleases God,do not allow sin to keep ruling your life, you are ruled by God's undeserved grace and not by the power of sin anymore.

Heavenly Father, I promise to obey you for the rest of my life. Please grant me grace to do so in Jesus name. Amen
