God's Nature

 Romans 8:5  For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

The nature of God is holiness. "God is holy," God is light and there is no darkness in Him. God cannot be compared with any creature both in the heavens and on earth because God is unique in nature, decent, and perfect.

The Bible says, "God created man in His own image after His likeness..." Which means, man has the nature of God. The scripture also says, "man had sin against God," and he had loses his reality in God and he would no longer function like God because sin had robbed him the nature of God. So when he sin man became a slave of sin and the nature of sin had overshadow him that is why he could no longer behaves like God and he started living by his desires and he forgets the things that matters (spiritual things) man was fashioned to live by the order of God and nothing more.

 Cain was influenced by sin and his evil nature made him killed Abel.  "Cain, after suggesting to his brother Abel that they go out to the field, attacks and kills him." Genesis 4:8

Every genuine born again Christian must possess the nature of God, because their nature had been altered since the day of their rebirth, so anyone who claims to be born again must proof it by reflecting the character of God. Every born again Christian is a new creature; he is no more living by his desires but by God's spirit, that lives in him.

The Bible says, "both Adam and Eve were naked and they were not ashamed. Genesis 2:25 but when devil came to trick them, he told Eve that by eating the forbidden fruit they will know what God knows. Genesis 3:5, the Bible also says, "they sewed fig leaves to cover themselves." Genesis 3:7

Any born again Christian that is still ruling by his desires and neglect God's instructions given by the spirit of God will perish. Because darkness and light are enemies.
