Lay Hold On Eternal Life

 Revelation 2:11  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

The gift of salvation is the best of all gifts that man has ever received, there is nothing more precious than the gift of underserved grace, that is the reason why you must keep fighting the good fight of faith in order to claim eternal life; the suffering and the death of our Lord Jesus Christ must not be in vain over your life.

Eternal Life is something you will earn, salvation is a free gift from God the Father to mankind that is why Jesus said, "And this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent." John 17:3

If you don't know God, you will never have eternal life, because those who knew God will keeps His commandments, starting from the day they got saved by the gift of underserved grace that gives them new life in God; they keep on fighting the good fight of faith because of their understanding, they knew that for a believer to have a glorious life such must be faithful to the end. 

Christian life is not a joke life, is not a life that will favor the devil a little and turn to God a little; you must back the world and carry your cross daily. That is why Jesus said, "No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God."  Luke 9:62

Christianity is a race, and with every fiber of your being you must run it so hard in order to win. Drop every weight of sin that may hold you down. No one will run it for you, Jesus said, "carry your cross daily and follow me..." Forget about the mundane things of this life; it will not last, focus on the things above; the end will soon come.

Heavenly Father, please give me grace to reign with Christ in the end. Amen
