The chosen

 John 18:37  Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

The world is not yet wiped out, because the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ has not yet get to the uttermost part of the world. And the saints are still present in the world. This world is a mixture of both the good and the evil, there are categories of people that will not taste death; that does not make God a politician, Jesus said,  "From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been suffering violence, and the violent have been seizing it by force." Matthew 11:12

God has decided to save all mankind and John came to announce it, then Jesus came to establish and to accomplish it, and the mission had been accomplished. 

All had been chosen to be saved, but only a few will make heaven. All mankind had became righteous under the umbrella of the finished work of Christ Jesus on the cross, but only those who belongs to the truth will make heaven.

God had decided to save all, but some had decided to perish; Judas Iscariot was chosen but he preferred darkness over light and his soul was claimed by the devil. Many were chosen but only a few recognized the voice of the shepherd, "I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd." John 10:16

Many had been chosen since they were in their mothers womb but the vanity of this world won't let them follow the truth. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5

WHAT ARE THE RIGHTEOUS STILL DOING ON EARTH?

"15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify them by[a] the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified." John 17:15-19

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THE CHOSED TO MISS HEAVEN?

The chosen may lose heaven, but those who wait upon the LORD and give up their lifes to Christ Jesus will live. " I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand." John 10:28
