Wake up!

 Proverbs 10:5  He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.

The kingdom of God had been announced since the time of John the Baptist, God had decided to save His people and John was sent to announce to the people of this world the saving power of God. John was the first apostle, the messenger of God and the forerunner of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus came to established the kingdom of God and to select/elect messengers of God after John the Baptist. The duty of those messengers is to harvest souls into the kingdom of God. Jesus tells his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few," highlighting the vast need for spiritual workers while acknowledging the scarcity of those willing to serve." Matthew 9:37

Every born again Christian is a messenger of God after John the Baptist to announce the kingdom of God to the people of the world and to tell them the saving power of God that is available to all man through the redemptive work of Christ Jesus. "Jesus calls to Peter and Andrew, saying, "Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of people" Matthew 4:19

The kingdom of God is here! And the main reason why God established His kingdom on earth is to save man, to set man free from the bondage of sin and to give them eternal life. "nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is in your midst.” luke 17:21

The harvesting of souls is active since the days of John the Baptist; at harvest season, it is stupid to sleep. As a born again Christian it is smart of you to keep winning souls into the kingdom of God without ceasing.

Heavenly Father, please help me fulfill purpose on earth and grant me grace to win souls everyday. Amen
