A good soldier of Christ

 2 Timothy 2:13  If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Apostle Paul said, "I have fought well. I have finished the race, and I have been faithful." He said all that because he understood what Christianity is all about, he knows what it means to be born from above. But unfortunately, many born again Christians do not understand what they symbolize. Many don't even fancy the amazing gift of salvation, they never consider and think about the suffering and the humiliation that our Lord Jesus Christ went through in order to set man free from the bondage of death.

You must know that immediately you get born again, you have entered into a race, the race that you must win, and the only way to win in the race of the kingdom is to obey every commandments of God. Because no one wins an athletic contest without obeying the rules. If you want to reign with Christ you must be faithful to the end. If you want to live with Christ, you must die with Him. If you don't give up, you will rule with Him. Jesus said, "if you deny that you know me, I will deny you before my Father and before the Holy Angels."

Stop trying to save your life, you do not have enough capacity to save it by yourself. Give it up to Christ and you will find it in Him. Let's think of it, if Jesus try to save His own life, where will you be today.? Don't you know that Jesus has the power to save His own life? He said to the disciples, "are you not aware that I can call on my Father to send me legions of Angels?" Matthew 26:53 He also said that He has the power to lay down His life and to take it back, but He refused to follow His will but He honored the Father in order to save you and I. You must be a good soldier of Christ, because every soldiers on duty do not work at outside jobs, they always obey the last command. Try to be faithful till Jesus comes back.

PRAY THIS WEEK

Heavenly Father, I pray for spiritual stamina to wait and to be faithful till the end, so help me God. Amen
