"Who do you say I am?"

 Mark 8:28-29 And they answered, John the Baptist: but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets.

And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.

Your revelation about the messiah will strongly determined your relationship and your position in God. Because Jesus Christ is the very image of the invisible God. Who do you considered Jesus Christ to be? The Bible says, if you can confess that Jesus is the son of God, you will be saved. And not only that, you may confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior only with your mouth but this confession must affect your heart and your behavior. Man must be able to see that truly you have Christ.

If your revelation about Christ Jesus is negative or your trust in the son of God is shallow your relationship with the Father will be affected and there will be no guarantee of new life.

Only those who truly confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior will be saved.

There is power in the name of Jesus, "the name of Jesus is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and got saved."

Let me share this little testimony with you; 

Some years back, I had an issue with a brother, and he set me up. I was coming back from work one night and suddenly I was attacked by a group of tugs, they are five in numbers if I am not mistaken. They started giving me blow and the best I could do was to guard my face, people were watching and nobody intervene, I dragged them to the main road, they will dragged me back and they kept hitting me with blow, when I noticed that no one will intervene and I had no chance of escape, Holy Ghost just whisper to my thought that I should call on the name of Jesus Christ, and immediately I said, "Jesus save me," one of them said, it is enough. That was how I escaped devil's trap that may have led to death.

Jesus prayed to the Father that He should protect His disciples by the power in the name He gave Him. "I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one." John 17:11

The revelation you had about Christ must be renewed today, you must know Jesus as your savior, your helper, your protector, your defender, and your all in all. Your relationship with Christ Jesus is going to determine your outcome in this life and in the life to come. "All power belongs to God." "Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.'" Matthew 28:18

PRAY THIS WEEK

I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior. And I pray that the power in the name of Jesus Christ will set me free from every evil bondage. Amen.
