Why you should fill yourself with the Holy Ghost

 Matthew 12:44-45 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

When Man was created, the glory of God was upon him and he was a free man but when he sin, the glory of God left him and he entered into darkness, he wasn't designed for war but sin had made him a victim. Man's soul had entered into battle against the forces and authorities and against rulers of darkness and powers in the spiritual world, and unfortunately for man, he was a novice in the things of the spirit; that is why evil spirit/demons could possess him, because he was a victim of sin. "Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world." Ephesians 6:12

Jesus came to the world, primarily to set man free from the bondage of sin and to give him peace. "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;" Isaiah 61:1

Jesus had conquered the death which happens to be the sting of sin, so anyone who accepts Christ will be free of forces, authority, powers, and rulers of darkness in the spiritual world,but that one must be full with the Holy Ghost.

The assignment of the son of God is to gives freedom and the work of the Holy Ghost is to uphold, without the help of the Holy Spirit no man can survive on his own; that is why, Our Lord Jesus Christ instructed the disciples to tarry until they were filled with the Holy Ghost. Every born again Christian is a new creature; which means he is no more under the influence of the evil spirit/power but he needs the Holy Ghost to survive in this evil world.

Heavenly Father, fill me with the Holy Ghost. Holy Spirit insist on me until I make it to heaven Amen.
