Why you should guard your mind and your thoughts

 Revelation 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

The mind, is a non-physical part of of man. Is that which thinks, feels, perceives, Imagines, remembers, and wills.

The Bible says, "man was created like God," and God is invisible, so man is more visible in the spirit realm than in the physical. It is the invisible part of man that makes his physical, so man must pay more attention on his inner structure than his physical figure.

God sees man from inside but man focus on the outward.

Believers must pay more attention on the inner man in order not to fall into temptation.

Jesus talked about being faithful in marriage in the book of Matthew chapter 5 verse 28 that if a married man should look at another woman and want her, such man is already unfaithful in his thoughts. It is true that devil can think through your thoughts and it is written in the scripture that God has written His law in our minds, which means that whenever devil brings a suggestion and trying to think through your thoughts you should be able to discern and cut him off. Believers must grow in the LORD both in knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and power in order to guard our thoughts and mind against the erosion of evil thoughts.

You must be watchful and be prayerful in order to gain stamina in the spirit so as to war against the arrows of the devil.

Heavenly Father, please grant me grace to guard my thoughts against the erosion of evil thoughts. Amen
