God loves you!

 John 14:15-16 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

It is a commandment from God that you should love Him. Because He is your creator and for you not to be an ingrate or a rebellious child, you must love God because He first love you. That is not enough reason why you should love God, you must love Him because of who He is and you must love Him because He fashioned you like Himself and gave you a free will as a gift. God did not created you for fun, He is a serious God. And He created you for a good reason. Before God and man can related like the Father and the son love must be applied, love is the strongest cord that connects man with God. The role that love played in the redemption of man from death cannot be overemphasized. That is why God instructed you to love Him more than anything else, if you don't love God the way Christ loves the Father, your relationship with God will not last because God will never share His glory with anyone.

You must love God because He first love you and He created you like Himself; when you sin He died for you, when you are lost He search for you and show you the right way. "We love each other because he loved us first." 1 John 4:19

Your love for God must be a genuine love; both man and the spirit being must testify that you truly love God. The love of Christ towards the Father is so real that both the angels and man can testify to it, that is how you should love God.

You can show this love by praying for the people of God or by winning souls into the kingdom.

It is a must for you to love your God with all your heart, your soul, and your mind.

Matthew 22:36–40 (ESV): 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

PRAY THIS WEEK

Heavenly Father, I pray for grace and spiritual capacity to love you the way I should, and I promise to love you for the rest of my life. So help me God Amen
