Resist the tricks of the devil

 Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Every believers must adopt the character of their savior, (the Lord Jesus). Jesus want you to be like Him, that is the reason why He instructed us to let His teachings becomes part of us; Jesus is the only one who knows the Father and His character mirrors that of the Father. Jesus instructed us that if we want to be like our Father in heaven, we must love our enemies and we should pray for anyone who mistreats us. Because our Father in heaven makes the sun shine on both good and bad people. And He sends rain for the ones who right and for the ones who do wrong.

If you want to free yourself from the bondage of the devil, you must know how to let go of the past, you must learn how to forgive and forget, the greatest obstacle that hinders prayers is unforgiven ess, Jesus said, "whenever you stand up to pray, you must forgive what others have done to you." 

Devil will make you think that you are too important to be offended, and he will make think that you are always, he will make you think that you can fight for yourself and that is not true; that thought is from the devil and it's a trick. The truth is that no one can defend himself and win, most of the time; even when you are right, people will still disagree with you, have you ever experienced that before? If you have experience it before, it's sent you a message that you can't defend yourself and you can't fight for yourself. God is the only one who can defend and won the battle for you.

Stop fighting for yourself, allow God to fight your battle. Let go of the past, so that your prayers will be answered, the question you should ask yourself is "am I a saint?" If you have never committed a sin before, then you can keep fighting others that offends you. reject the devil and his tricks today and he will flee from you.
