The burden of the lord

 Luke 2:35 (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.

The burden of the Lord is a spiritual weight that compels man to act. It is a deep sense of responsibility and urgency that God places on individuals.

Everyone carries some kind of burden but many do not pay attention, and many are not ready to do business with God. The only business of God that involves man's participation is the business of winning souls.

Virgin Mary, the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ had the privilege to have birth to the savior of the world. Angel Gabriel referred to her as someone who was really blessed; "you are truly blessed! The Lord is with you." Luke 1:28

The Holy Spirit came upon Elizabeth and she confessed that "God has blessed her more than any other woman!" Luke 1:42

But Simeon said to her, "and you, Mary, will suffer as though you had been stabbed by a dagger. But all this will show what people are really thinking." Luke 2:35

The burden of God is bearable, it attracts blessing, honor, peace, and joy and sometimes it attracts suffering but it always leads to joy everlasting, glory, and peace.

Ask those who cherish God's burden, they will tell you how sweet it is to work with God.

Jesus talked about this subject in the book of Matthew chapter 11 verses 28 through 30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

If things are not working for you and it seems as if the problems of the whole world is after you, you may have prayed and fast about it, and yet nothing works, please forget about your problem and pray to God to give you His burden, believe me you will have rest and peace will be yours.

Stop doing business with the devil, change your plan today and turn to God make peace with Him and you will be bless.
