A new creature

 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

What does it means when we say a Christian is a new creature?

Generally speaking, it is obvious that the world is evil and since man had been chased into the world, he has been influenced by the power that governs the earth realm. But Jesus Christ was sent to give man a new life and to set him free from the wicked powers of this world. Jesus came to sanctify man and to make him a new creature; anyone that accept Christ as his Lord and savior will become a new creature. And to become a new creature is a gradual process; since man had been influenced by the environment where he dwells, he needs to pass through the process of sanctification so that the faith he has in God will be tested by fire in order for him to be completely new.

As a new convert, you must know that trials and temptations will come, but many believers may not understand, that is why many kept blaming God when they are passing through the process of sanctification, God cannot be tempted by evil, and He doesn't use evil to tempt, but because we desires the mundane things of this life and we want to please God at the same time, our process of sanctification will be prolonged but when we decides to go with God completely, we will find it easier to learn the way of God, the way that is new to us because we have used with the world system. As a new creature, you must live a new life and for you to live a new life, you must learn how to endure by having your faith tested so that you will be completely mature in God.
