Don't expect help from egypt

 Isaiah 30:1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:

Ancient Egypt was happened to be a cradle of civilization. It was a vast kingdom of the ancient world. It lasted as a leading economic and cultural influence throughout the north Africa and parts of the Levant until it was conquered by the Macedonians in 332 B.C.E.

Because of her vastness in economics and her achievement as a great kingdom, many nations of the world trust her for protection and for help.

But through prophet Isaiah, God sent a warning message to the Israelites not to turn Egypt to their God and not to turn pharaoh to their only hope.

God is the only source of hope for all mankind no one is sufficient or capable to help others; "Unless the LORD builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the LORD protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good." 127:1

As a genuine born again Christian you must put all your trust in God alone. Many had rebel against God by trusting something worthless, some preferred to obey the devil because of the mundane things of this sinful world, many don't even pray to their God again because they believe that God can fail them. Anyone who put his trust in something worthless, will be worthless.

Stop expecting help from this evil world. The world has nothing good to offer, God want you to trust Him with all your heart. If you put your trust in man, you will be disappointed; God is the only hope you have, and Jesus is the only one who promised absolute peace.

Stay focused, trust in the Lord, and never stop praying. Your God will show up.

Heavenly Father, I put my trust in you please please don't let me be ashamed in Jesus name. Amen
