PRAY for the right spirit

 Acts 28:27  For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

The psalmist said, "create in me a clean heart, o God; and renew a right spirit within me."

Human being is made up of spirit, soul, body. And when God created man he was good and perfect. But sin had made him unacceptable to God.

Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, and since man was created in the likeness of God he has his own spirit too; spirit is the innermost part of a person, the spirit possessing God consciousness. "God is spirit, and those who worship God must be led by the Spirit to worship him according to the truth." John 4:24

We can only realized God by the spirit, no man can please God in the flesh.

God did not create any other creature with a spirit; this makes human being unique from every other living things.

Since the life of man had been affected and corrupted by sin, he will never participate in the things of the spirit and his spirit is dormant or disconnected from the realm that matters, that is why he cherish the mundane things to the things of the kingdom. The only available generator that powers man's spirit is the Spirit of God. So, anyone who does not possess the Spirit of God will never listen to the good news of the kingdom and if they listen, they will never understand, even when they witness wonders of God, they won't still believe because their spirit is not right.

As a minister of God, you needs to pray before approaching the unbelievers, because human logic or human wisdom will never change the corrupt hearts of man. And as a believer, you must pray for the right Spirit in order for your spirit to be in consistent with the Spirit of God.

PRAY THIS WEEK 

Heavenly Father, please create in me a clean heart,  and renew a right spirit within me in Jesus mighty name Amen.
