What do you care about?

Jonah 4:10 Then said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night:

Is there anything that the sons of man should care about? Must we care about our lives, or we should care about this life or the mundane things of life.

Is there anything under the sun that worth our struggles?

The answer is that, we should not worry about anything but we should care about God.

Jesus said, "can worry make you live longer?" Matthew 6:27

What you should know and understand is that God created you for a purpose and you have limited time to fulfill that purpose; because all mankind were born after day break and die before the night fall and vanished from the face of the earth. So why do you worry about your life? What make you think that the way you wish to live your life is more important than the purpose by which you are created, despite the fact that you have no idea of how you were formed in your mother's womb. You are so concerned about your life, the life that you know little about; what right do you have to tell God that you want to live your life in a certain way, the way that is inconsistent with the will of the Father, why do you worry so much about this sinful world? God wants you to worry about something that is more important, something worthwhile, something that is beyond age and time, He want you to worry about the future, He wants you to worry about life eternal but unfortunately many people had centered their focus on the things that is temporal, we worry about mansions, cars, and positions, we care so much about the things that will not last.

Jesus said, "if you want to save your life, you will destroy it." There is a life in you that is more important than the one you are living now. If the life that God wants to offer us when He created us is this one we are living now, then we should agree with those who says God is not fair, but no our God is fair. Because He said, the plan He has for us is to give us a better future, and that future is the life eternal; where no one will be sick, got blind, died, or experience sorrow in anyway whatsoever. Our Lord Jesus Christ lives from that realm when He was still on earth; that is why He was able to walk on water, multiply bread, and perform what man considered to be wonders because Jesus sees it as normal thing. He said, "If you believe, you will see the glory of God."

The totality of God's glory is encapsulated in the life eternal, only those who have faith will be able to behold that glory in this life but when this age is over, those who live up to the standard will reign with Christ and live in God's glory.

PRAY THIS WEEK

Heavenly Father, please give me your understanding. Make me worry about the things that matters to you in Jesus name. Amen
