Why do you accept Christ?

 Philippians 3:14  I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

The reason why you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord and savior will determine your outcome in the kingdom business.

You have to know that the main reason why Jesus went to the cross is to save all humankind from death and to bring them back to the Father.

"If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable." 1 Corinthians 15:19

If you accepted Christ just because of anything apart from making heaven then you are not wise.

It is one thing to accept Christ just because of the signs and wonders and it is another thing to know the reason why Jesus work wonders. When Jesus fed more than five thousand people with just five loaves of bread and two fish, the crowd started looking for Him, not because they needed Him but because they get what they wants. The reason why you must accept Christ is not just because you want to satisfy your needs, you must accept Christ for a reason that is beyond time and age; when you have this mentality, it will help you to focus, set goals, and work towards the goal of making heaven.

Many Christians are living as enemies of the cross of Christ, they call themselves Christians but their focus is not on the cross, they focus on how to feed their stomachs, and they brag about gold, silver, wealth, money, and the disgusting things they do. Jesus told the crowd of people not to work for the food that spoils instead, they should focus on the cross. He also said, "you cannot be my disciple unless you carry your own cross and follow me," because 

"Anyone who starts plowing and keeps looking back isn't worth a thing to God's kingdom!" 

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, you must forget what is behind, and keep struggling for what is ahead, stay focused, and keep fighting the good fight of faith. Our Lord Jesus had paid the price but you must carry your cross daily in order to reign with Christ.
