Evangelism and Money
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
The role that money plays in evangelism cannot be over emphasize. Does that mean that believers should focus on how to gather wealth? The answer is capital no.
Frankly speaking, if you want to fulfill destiny, you need money, but money is not the priority. All you need to fulfill purpose is the strong relationship you have with the Holy Ghost.
Jesus said, "but the Holy Spirit will come upon you and give you power."
All you need to fulfill destiny is power not money;
Money can play a supporting role in facilitating evangelism by enabling the work of missionaries and funding outreach programs. That is why you must work; there is no prayer point that can make a lazy man rich, anyone who fail to work should not eat.
If you refused to work, you may not have money to promote the work of God. But money should not take the place of God and work should not take the place of God in your life.
Jesus said, "put first the kingdom of God." Hard work will not make you rich and hard work work will not make you fulfill purpose. When Jesus said you should not worry about what to eat and what to wear, He was not teaching you laziness but He was telling us that God is the one that provides, and when you worry about the kingdom of God and you focus on your daily job, God will provides all your needs.
When God blesses you with money, you must know that the money is for the kingdom purpose and not for the vanity of life.
Any believer that spends carelessly has no vision; the vision of the believers is to promote the kingdom of God.
Money can kill and it can destroy, but for those who understands the principles of the kingdom, money will never be their problem.
PRAY THIS WEEK
Heavenly Father, please bless me for the kingdom purpose and give me grace to manage any money that comes my way in Jesus mighty name Amen.
