Seeking God's Face

 Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

God is Spirit. Anyone who want to see God must seek Him in spirit and in truth. King David said, "who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in His holy place? He that hath clean hands and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul into vanity, nor sworn deceitfully." 

Fasting, praying, and meditating on the words of God are the spiritual channels that leads to the Father.

Through Christ Jesus all men can go to the Father, but for anyone to see the Father such must have a pure heart.

One may say, my heart is pure and I have being praying to God on a matter but God has not answer or show up, the question is; what is the basis of your prayer point? 

Jesus said, "I thank you Father because you hear me always," 

The psalmist said, the one that will stand in the holy place of God, will not lift up his soul unto vanity. The reason why God won't answer many prayers is because of the basis of the request; many pray to God to bless them for vanity purpose and they can went on a journey of days on dry fasting because they want someone who has done them wrong to die; when Jesus said, you should pray for anyone who mistreats you.

If you want to see the face of God, you must know how to intercede for others.

"Everybody worth saving," God wants everyone to be saved; why will you pray for someone to die in sin, when God wants him to be saved? 

The best way to get feedback from God when you pray, is to pray God's prayer. What is God's prayer? Always pray for God's kingdom to come, you must shift the direction of your prayers from your desires and focus it on what the Father wants.

Jesus did not pray that Lazarus should get well, but He prayed that he should raise from death so that God's name will be honored and the will of the Father will be done.

Jesus did not pray for the legions of angels to guard Him from the enemies but He prayed to the Father not to forsake Him, so that the will of the Father will be done.

PRAY THIS WEEK 

Pray that the will of God should be done, and for His kingdom to come to this nation.
