The Law And The Grace

 Psalms 119:5  O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!

The Bible says, "for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

The glory of God is what makes man relevant in the spirit entity; this glory is like a garment that covers man but when man sin against God the glory left him and he became worthless.

The glory of God gives lives to man in the spirit and the spirit of God instructs man about the things of God. God created man to reason like Him and to live like Him but sin had robbed him of God's glory and God's life.

God gave law to man through Moses; and the law was given for direction, for instructions, and to show man the right from the wrong, that is why Jesus said, "people needs every words that God has spoken."

The law was given to get man ready for the second chance that God was about to give; no man can please God by obeying the law but the law will get him prepared for the new life that God had planned to give him. Why new life?

The life that man has when he was created had been taken from him when he sin against God, "Genesis 3:3"

So, for man to be able to function like God and to have God's life, he must be born the second time. And for any man to be born again such must access the undeserved grace of God. What is the grace of God? God's grace is the unmerited favor, a gift freely given by God to humanity through the finished work of Christ Jesus on the cross.

So, through Christ all may come to God; for through Adam all had departed from God but through Christ Jesus all will come back to God.

The law will lead you back to God and the grace will make you acceptable to God, so when God accepts you because of Christ, you must not detach yourself from God's instructions, because it is the truth which is the word of God that will help you maintain the new position that you just regain in God and the Spirit of truth, who happened to be the Holy Ghost will help you lives a faithful life till Jesus comes.

PRAY THIS WEEK 

PRAY to God, tell Him that you are weak; that He should let His teachings breathe a new life into you. And pray that He should help you to understand His teachings in Jesus mighty name.
