Fruitfulness

Matthew 21:19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

A fruit is any part of a flowering plant or tree that has seeds and can be eaten.

When God created man He blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and every creature that crawls upon the earth."

God planted man in the garden of Eden with the aim of producing fruits but when man sinned against God, he was uprooted and he was casted away. Since then he was unable to produce any fruit because he has lost his root in God and he became barren.

No man can produce fruit without Christ Jesus.

Jesus is the true Vine.

Accepting Christ Jesus as your Lord and savior makes you a branch or a part in the body of Christ and it is a must for you to produce fruit but if you failed to produce fruit, you may be cut off.

It is your responsibility as a believer to win souls into the kingdom, winning souls is not the only way to produce fruit in the kingdom but it is the best way to produce fruit. The fruit you produces must have effect on the growth and development of God's kingdom.

As a Christian, it is a must for you to produce fruit and the kind of fruit you must produce are the ones that the scripture recorded in the book of Galatians chapter 5 verses 22 and 23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."

PRAY THIS WEEK

Ask God to forgive your sins and promise Him that you will be fruitful and pray for restoration.
