God's Blessing

 Matthew 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

The Bible recorded that, "the blessing of the LORD maketh rich, and He added no sorrow with it." 

When we are talking about God's blessing, we are talking about God's favor over one's life. Angel Gabriel said to Mary, "Hail, thou that art highly favored, and the LORD is with thee, blessed art thou among women." 

What does it really mean to be bless? The blessing of God has nothing to do with material things; the blessing of God has a lot to do with something eternal. God's blessing does not equal long life on earth; God's blessing means to have the life eternal. 

Those who considered God's blessing as material things knows nothing about the saving power of God and they are not wise at all, even, the unbelievers has the riches of this earth in their possession. Jesus said, "my kingdom is not of this world," a kingdom man will never see this evil world as his final destination; that is why he will never consider material things as blessing. Food is good for the body, but life is more than food or clothing or material things.

Jesus said to Simon, son of Jonah, "you are blessed! You didn't discover this on your own. It was shown to you by my Father in heaven." 

Blessing is when you find favor with God, and not when you find favor with men.

Apostle Paul prayed for the believers in philippi and said, "I pray that God will take care of all your needs with the wonderful blessings that come from Christ Jesus!" Philippians 4:19

When you finds favor with God all your needs will be supplied, even when your bank account is empty.

Our Lord Jesus Christ defines those who are really blessed, this is recorded in the book of Matthew chapter 5 verses 1 to 12 and He never consider blessing as material things or worldly possession.
