Grow Into Maturity

Hebrews 6:1  Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Growth in the kingdom is a process and it is a must for every believers to grow everyday until they grow into maturity.

Apostle Paul said, "people who live on milk are like babies who don't really know what is right. Solid food is for mature people who have been trained to know right from wrong. "Hebrews 5:13&14

There are too many baby Christians, those we can referred to as "fake Christians." This category of people are not ready to learn; they won't see themselves as people who needs to grow because they always boast about religion and they takes pride in their position in the society. But Jesus said, those who are poor in the spirit are really blessed because the kingdom of God belongs to them. "Matthew 5:3"

If all we kept debating on is our mode of dressing, and the basic things we were taught about Christ, then we are not yet mature.

If we truly have the Holy Spirit, we shouldn't keep debating on whether we should pay tithe or not and whether women should put on men's wears or not. Debating on all the basic things proves our immaturity.

The new converts should learn with fear and for those who had been in the kingdom for a while should focus mainly on the things above and not just the basic religious doctrine.

The modern day church needed to be purged; both the ministers and the no ministers should strive for growth, we must stop crucifying Christ the second time with the way and the manner by which we carry-out our services in the house of God.

PRAY THIS WEEK

Pray for the kingdom of God to come into your home, your city, your church, your country, and to the society at large in Jesus mighty name Amen.
