Scripture Benefits

 2 Timothy 3:16  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

The word of God is powerful!

The scripture teaches that in the beginning was the word, the word was with God and the word was God.

The ministry of the word cannot be over emphasized in the christiandom; any Christian who do not take the word of God serious is not wise because it is the word of God that gives life, it gives direction, it gives light, and it gives power. Jesus said, "the word I spoke to you are spirit and life." 

Every genuine believers must take the advantage of the scripture; many martyrs died before the scripture could be translated into different languages, the forces of hell insisted but the power of God supercede.

Jesus said, "man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeded out of God." That statement is not a figure of speech; if you think that as a Christian you can survive without the word of God then you are a joker.

Solution to every problems in life had been captured in the scripture; there is nothing that the devil can manifest or manufacture that has not been captured in the scripture. 

In the book of Ecclesiastes, king Solomon said, "nothing is new," he expressed further and said, "someone might say, 'here is something new!' but it happened before, long before we were born." Ecclesiastes 1:9&10

Your problem is not new and it's not special, if you can search the scripture in prayer you will surely find solution to it. Let me quickly share my testimony with you; sometimes ago, I was possessed by the spirit of fear. I always find it difficult to address a crowd of people; even though I know what to say but to say it will become a problem, even though I know what to read in the classroom but to read it becomes problem. Behold; I was studying the scripture one day and when I read a verse that says, "When they hand you over, don't worry about how you are to speak or what you are to say, because in that hour what you are to say will be given to you." Matthew 10:19 the problem was solved by the power in the word of God and those who knew me before were surprised and a coursemate of mine was so amazed. Many problems had been solved in my life by the help and the benefit of the scripture. This world was created by the word of God and nothing on earth is superior to the word of God that created it.
