When God Is On Your Side

 Romans 8:31  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

The Bible recorded that, "at noon the sky turned dark and stayed that way until three o'clock. Then about that time Jesus shouted, Eli, Eli, lema sabacthani?" Which means, 'my God, my God, why have you deserted me?" 

Jesus made that statement because He understood that if God is with a man no evil shall before him, at that hour the Father had turned His back on the Son so that the prophecy might be fulfilled.

If God is on your side no evil shall before you. It is recorded in the book of Proverbs that the name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe."

God will remain on your side if you remain righteous; our sins made Jesus unrighteous and the Father turned His back at Him, and Jesus said, "everyday I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour, when darkness reigns." Luke 22:53

Your sins is what powers the devil and gives darkness legal ground to operates over your life. If you really want peace, you must forsake your sins and seek the face of God, until you have God on your side no amount of prayer or fasting can dethroned darkness over your life.

PRAY THIS WEEK 

Heavenly Father, please don't forsake me. I want you by my side for the rest of my life, and I promise to abide with you forever Amen.
