A New Life
1 Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
One morning during the Sunday school hour someone asked this question; what would I tell someone who asked me, "can you Jesus take away my problems forever if I accept Him?" Or better to say, "if I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord savior, would I be free from problems forever?"
The answer is yes, if you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior you will be free from all problems because you will become a new creature and you will be living a new life in Christ Jesus. The life of God that you have in Christ Jesus will make you rich, religion will not make you rich as the idea of many, the life you have in Christ will makes you content with what you have; your desires is what leads you to problems but when you accept Christ you will no longer live for yourself and your desires won't have power over you.
A genuine born again Christian will always put the kingdom of God first and every other things will become secondary. So, if you don't have what to eat it won't bother you because faith that is embedded in the life you have in Christ will make you sure that God will feed you. Sickness won't bother you because faith will make you sure that your Father is a healer and He will heal your diseases.
Religion will not make you rich, but Christian religion will make your life rich in Christ Jesus.
It is written in the scripture that if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
Since the reality of life is in the spirit; immediately you accept Christ Jesus as your Lord and savior, all your problems is solved, but you may not see with your physical eyes that is why you must live by faith.
If you have Christ, you have wealth. If you have Christ, you are healed. If you have Christ you are free. If you have Christ, favor is on your side. If you have Christ, goodness is on your side. If you have Christ you have everything.
